Insight/Education 2

Here you will find creative insights and factual information that I hope will be helpful for those facing the healing process as a result of abuse in its many forms...and for those who walk along side them. The struggles that face many survivors of deep emotional wounds can often be misrepresented or misunderstood. These videos, excerpts, artwork, educational material, poetry and other presentations are offered as a source of understanding for the various therapuetic paths or emotional issues you, a friend or a loved one may be facing My deepest prayer is that we would open our hearts, release judgement and extend compassion and mercy to those who have survived and are reaching for hope and healing. By understanding and educating ourselves we can each be better equipped to offer support and help to those we love...and to ourselves.

Some of the material presented on this page is difficult to see, hear and talk about. I struggled with choosing each selection but feel strongly that its the truth that needs to be heard and in some cases seen to understand. These are offered so that the silence may be broken and healing conversations may begin.

BUT...

There is hope...through all the darkness and pain of abuse...we are not alone... there is One who sees and hears and grieves at what has been done to His children...He is on our side...to redeem and transform the damage...to lead us to those who can help guide us through the process of healing....to give us the courage to take the steps out of our pain...to break the cycle of abuse....to offer hope and healing....
